Lakes of Liberty Mills -Architectural Application Process
Article V: Architectural Control
No building, deck, fence, wall, in ground swimming pool or other structure, including but not limited to swing set, gym set or sand box, shall be commenced, erected or maintained upon the Properties, nor shall any exterior addition to or change or alteration therein be made until the plans and specifications showing the nature, kind, shape, height, materials and location of the same shall have been submitted to and approved in writing as to harmony of external design and location in relation to surrounding structures and topography by the Board of Directors of the Association, or by the Architectural Control Committee (the “Committee”), such committee to be composed of a board member and up to 2 other members designated by the board of directors. In the event said Board or Committee fails to approve or disapprove such design and location within thirty (30) days after said complete plans and specifications have been submitted to it, approval will not be required, and this Article will be deemed to have been complied with in full. Notwithstanding any other provisions to the contrary in this Article, the Committee shall have the right not to approve construction, or modification in the event construction was approved, of any fence on Lots 1-12, 58-64, 82-87 all inclusive, which, in the Committee's sole opinion, would create a site obstruction of any lake in the Subdivision. Article VI: General Provisions Section 7 (a): Structures, trailers, campers, tents, garages, barns, outbuildings Section 7 (c) : Clothes lines, poles & flag poles Section 7 (d): Metal wall pools & hot tubs Section 7 (e): Basketball goals Section 8: Signs Section 9: Radio & TV antennas Section 11: Animals, Pets Complete Covenants & Restrictions are available online at www.lakesoflibertymills.com ____________________________________________________________ Lakes of Liberty Mills - Architectural Application required information 1) Name 2) Address 3) Phone 4) E-mail 5) Project: Deck, Pool, Fence, Roof, New Addition, Alteration, Other 6) Drawing of the proposed work, Renderings, Proposals etc 7) Plans and Specifications should include nature, color, kind, shape, dimensions, height, exact location 8) Materials 9) Contractors 10) Signature 11) Date submitted Your architectural application may not be all-encompassing and further information may be requested if needed for the Architectural Control to determine whether they can approve the project. Upon completion and submission of your application all submissions should be verified by phone to ensure any email or postal submissions have been received by Architectural Control, therein beginning the 30-day time frame for approval. Complete details and clear communication will expedite the approval process.
